How Your Boxing Class Near Montparnasse Works

Our classes take place in small groups. Here’s what to expect in your boxing class:

Warm-up: Running, skipping rope, lunges, squats, and other dynamic exercises to awaken your muscles and improve your coordination.
Technical Work: After a technical introduction and demonstration, you will practice boxing techniques, refining your punches, jabs, hooks, and uppercuts on shields, pads, and the heavy bag.
Partner Work and Sparring: Apply the movements learned with a partner in light contact (controlled strikes, executing movements while holding back power), and work on your offense and defense against an opponent as unpredictable as you.
Situational Training with the Coach: To go further, you will engage in situational training with your coach (with less restraint than in light contact), reserved for at least an intermediate level.

What equipment do you need? For your training, you will need boxing gloves, hand wraps, and shoes (no need to bring a mouthguard, headgear, or skipping rope).
